Bind Familiar |
This cantrip will bind one living creature (that is not aggressive to the caster) of less than 1' in size, to the casters purpose and will. By binding a creature as a familiar the caster gains the following:- 1) + 3Bps 2) +1d4mps 3) Simple one word commands can be given to the familiar. It will obey these commands to the best of its ability. 4) The familiar may carry an object up to dagger size and weight. 5) The familiar has 2 monster hits, and can be healed as normal. 6) The familiar is able to utilise its racial attack modes (i.e. snake with venomous bite) and will live to the mages natural lifespan. To bind the familiar the caster must cut himself and bleed a singles worth of BP's onto the creature, while reciting the following, "With the power's at mine command, I infuse this (creature) with my will. (Creature) thou art mine to command." Should the familiar die for any reason then the caster will be subject to the following:- 1) Looses or his current blood points. 2) A Permanent loss of 1d10Bp's (Rolled after adventure) 3) Any additional MP's or BP's gained from the familiar are lost. |
Body Awareness |
Caster gains body information of any one target including Heart rate, respiration rate, blood count, etc. Somatic is placing palm on caster forehead. Vocals "I call the powers of the elements for my purpose to diagnose this (targets) physical being." |
Bone Lore |
Caster acquires a complete understanding of any bone damage, including the type of instrument or effect that caused its damage (if applicable). Vocals Sprites of light I command thee let me know the histories of this wound. |
Chill and Warm |
Heats or Cools object by 10 F. Verbal component is soft whistle, somatic is raising or lowering of hand. |
Chip |
Allows caster to chip and devalue any 'chip- |
Clean and Dirty |
Removes or adds heavy dirt or soil, from any object. Only one object per casting. Somatic component is a circular hand motion. |
Clip to the sack |
By pointing at a living male target's love spuds and reciting the following the caster is able to give a target a good slap to a targets bell end. This cantrip will cause great offence but will not disturb spell casting or fighting. The Vocals are By my powers, clip! |
Clue |
Gives the caster a single inspirational idea towards any given puzzles or quiz. It will only work once on any given puzzle, and the caster will never get the complete answer (just a clue given to them by the ref.).� The somatic for this cantrip is a rubbing or scratching of the forehead and the vocals By the Elementals of the world, I Command thee make known unto myself thy wisdom of the ages. |

Cursing Imp |
With this cantrip the caster is able to summon a minor daemonic imp with which he can curse a target with a non- Vocals are By the imps of misfortune I curse thee with (effect). |
Cut |
Caster can cut any cut- NB: each snip is a recasting of the cantrip. |
Dampen and Dry |
Effects material making it less/more difficult to ignite. Somatic is hands rubbing together. |
Dart |
By moving his wrist in a dart throwing action the mage is able to conjure a dart that disappears on contact with a living target; causes a nasty stabbing pain which hurts for a few seconds. The pain will not stop spell casting or combat. |
Detect Curse |
If the caster holds his hand within 1" of a suspected cursed artefact, this cantrip will confirm if it is cursed by vibrating. Vocals By my power and by mine might let me know if this (object) be cursed. |
Detect Magic |
This cantrip causes any Magical object (not Sa) to shine with a faint white to black glow. This cantrip works by agitating the active or passive magic contained within the object/person/creature to the point where the magic contained emits a faint, visible to all, glow. The colour of the glow is specific to the caster, in such a way that if the item is useful or 'good' for the caster the glow will be white. If the glow were to be black then an item is detrimental or 'evil' to the caster. A grey glow would indicate an item that the caster could not use or is totally worthless to the caster. NB: If the item could be good or evil to the caster, depending how it is used, it will glow alternatively black/white/black/white, etc. The caster is also able to tell whether the item possesses passive or active magic. The Somatic for this cantrip is the waving of the hand within 1 of the detecting item.� The vocals are By the Elementals at mine command, show me if magic may be found hither. NB: This is a dangerous cantrip to use on magically trapped objects, as any agitation will cause the trap to trigger. |
Detect Psychosis |
Allows the caster to determine if a target is affected by a psychosis (such as frenzy, charm etc). This cantrip tells the caster that there is a psychosis present but not which type (i.e. type Fear, frenzy etc) or it s cause. Vocals By the elements of earth, air, fire, water, darkness and light, I unravel the secrets of this mind to let me know if it is ailed. |
Detect Tattoo |
Commands loads of invisible imps to search the target's body for any tattoos. Somatic is a waving of the caster's hand in front of the victim's face. NB: Victim is aware that something is searching/touching him. |
Disappear |
This cantrip requires the use of a pair of well used shoes. The caster must point to a spot somewhere behind the creature he is facing and shout Don t look now but there is 3 dozen trolls and six Ogres sneaking up on you! If the creature turns around the caster shouts out Feet's don't fail me know and can flee in time speed for ten seconds. |
Dust |
Removes all dust from an object. Somatic is gentle blowing. |
Dye |
Restores or changes the colour of any fabric. It can be used on faded, dyed or painted fabrics. Verbal component is gentle humming, with a wringing hand motion. |
Element Analysis |
Gives the caster the details of how any given element was worked. Has to be re- |
Emotion Touch |
Caster receives detailed information about the target s current state (e.g. depressed, angry, happy, frightened, etc) It will not identify if this emotion is magically created. The Vocals are I call the powers of the Soulfire stone to my hand to touch this (targets) inner soul and identify. |
Enchanted Rope |
If caster holds one end of rope he can cause the rope to move up to its length in any direction and tie itself into one knot of his choosing. It can not attack nor tie up any living or undead creature. Vocals Let the minor sylphs of air make this rope move with the semblance of life, at mine command. |
Enhance Poison |
This cantrip will enhance the PR of any ingested poison by 1. The increase in potency lasts 1min. The vocals are Essence of Darkness I conjure thee, let the perfidious nature of the (Caster's race) race infest this brew. |
Explode Familiar |
Causes the casters familiar to explode in a shower of bone and gristle causing a quad through (6 on a monster) on anyone within a 15' radius.� The somatic is a thumping of the chest with the vocals By the powers at my command (creature/familiar name), I now destroy thee utterly! By destroying his familiar the caster is subject to the same losses as described in bind familiar above. |
Exterminate |
This cantrip kills all small pests (such as flies, louse, mice, etc.) in 1 cubic foot. The verbal component is a zzzzztttt sound, and the somatic is a pointed finger. |
Feign Death Special |
This cantrip requires the use of a large white lily. To effect the cantrip the caster must stagger around the room/clearing etc, and recite Aargh, a touch, I do confess it! I fear I breathe my last! Give my plate mail to sis. Friends, bury me not on the lone plains. The caster must then fall onto their back clutching the lily to their chest and lie rigid. Caster now appears dead until they move again. |
Fires Tale |
Allows the caster to determine the temperature of a fire, how long it has burned, how long the fire will continue to burn the elemental type of the fire, who created the fire, etc.� Vocals I call upon the salamanders of fire to answer my questions. |
Flavour |
This will change the flavour (caster only) of any food/drink consumed. Note, however, this cantrip will not purify poisoned food nor refresh spoiled food. The verbal component is a lip smacking sound and the somatic is waving a hand once back and forth over the foodstuff. |
Freshen and Sour |
Effects last 5 minutes. During this time any small amount (a pint of milk, a joint of beef, etc) will be returned to full freshness or become totally spoiled and rotten. If eaten during this time then the foodstuff will be either fully nutritious or totally rotten. If rotten food is eaten stomach upset occurs, with vomiting and cramps. |
Gather and Spill |
When gather is cast Time freeze is called and all desired small objects (such as coins, small twigs etc) within a 1' square can be collected together into neat stacks. Spill works in the opposite way turning over small flasks, disrupting tidy piles. The verbal component is the repetition of the substance name while the caster points his finger towards the area. (NB. Cantrip range is approx. 10'). |
Get Joke |
With this cantrip the caster may understand any joke within earshot. The somatic is to laugh aloud then call time freeze. (Ref. then explains joke). |

Insect Plague |
The material component of this cantrip is a handful of sugar. To cast the cantrip the caster and several friends must sit down to eat a picnic. The caster then throws the sugar over his shoulder and looks at the victims picnic lunch. The victims lunch then gets assaulted by insects, i.e. ants, wasps, mosquitoes, etc. |
Invisible Runes |
As the Caster reads aloud any written word on a surface the word will vanish from all other eyes (except the casters) until the next sunrise. |
Know Name |
With the vocals I call upon the minor elementals of Ea to answer my question. Elementals, what is this (Creature)'s true name.This cantrip will allow the caster to become privy to a person's real name. This cantrip will identify the true names of mortals it will not work on any daemon or elemental etc. Range is touch. |
Levitate |
Allows the caster to float 1 above the floor. The caster is unable to move in any direction, nor may they float any higher than 1 (while utilising this cantrip) unless they succumb to the effects of another spell. Living Temperature Gauge |
With this cantrip the caster is able to ascertain the exact temperature of the surrounding atmosphere. Somatic is the blowing on the back of the hand. |
Locate Spell Book |
By reciting Fairies of this local I command thee to show me where mine spell book may be found the caster will be able to know his spell books locale within a 100' radius. |
Magic Pointer |
By using this cantrip the caster may create a 'pointer' out of any object. This 'pointer' will point to any non- Vocals (Object) that I have seen, I desire thee. Imps of the shadows I command thee (Desired 'pointing' effect) this (Pointer) when next it points to my most desired (Object). |
Morning Wakeup |
By using the vocals Fairies of the night I command thee to awaken me at the hour of (time). The caster is able to awake naturally at the specified time as though he had set an alarm clock. |
Outlandish Wallop |
By pointing at a living target and reciting the following the caster is able to give a target a stinging slap which causes great offence but will not disturb spell casting or fighting. The Vocals are By my powers, slap! |
Overlook |
Caster is able to cause all other's to 'overlook' (even if obvious) any object that could fit inside the casters hand, and make it become invisible for the next 1 min. The somatic is the clapping of the caster s hands over the object three times. |
Peaceful Sleep |
Caster can place any willing target into a natural sleep by touching their forehead and whispering, By all the elements grace I bid thee sleep. |
Polish and Tarnish |
This cantrip magically smoothes/roughens and polishes/tarnishes any substance. The effects last for 15 minutes. Verbal component is singing a clean/dirty song, while waving hand in a buffing motion over the object. |
Protection Circle |
By drawing a circle up to 3' radius around himself the caster is able to protect his person and objects and any other within the circle from any cantrip (NOT spell) cast at him/them. After drawing a solid circle and standing within it the caster recites the following With the minor Imps at mine command I infuse this circle to protect me/us. |
Salt |
This causes a pinch of salt to magically appear over any desired place. The somatic is a sprinkling motion with thumb and first two fingers. |

Spark |
Caster can enchant an item so that it will shock the next living target that touches it.� The victim takes 1 point of damage to the location and to BP's and must drop the object. This damage is through. NB: magical protection will stop the damage, but victim must still drop the object. Enchantment will last 1 adventure, or until set off. NB: caster also counts as a living target! Vocals: By mine might, and by mine hand I call upon the salamanders of fire to guard this (item). |

This causes a pinch of spice to magically appear over any desired place. The somatic is a sprinkling motion with thumb and first two fingers. |
Stand |
After calling time freeze the caster instantly gains his feet from a prone position. Vocals By mine might, let me stand . NB: Time freeze must be called AFTER the vocals are said. |
Study |
With this cantrip the caster is able to remember one A4 page of text with a total photographic memory until the next sunrise. Vocals (Key Word), when I speak this word thus once more then let this information flow forth again from my lips. |
Summon Insect |
This spell will summon an insect of normal dimensions, which will appear in the caster's hand. This cantrip must be re- Ingredient:- Vocals By the elements of earth, air, fire and water I conjure hence a (insect). |
Summon Mammal |
This spell will summon a small mammal (6" in length/height) which will come at the caster's call. This cantrip must be re- Ingredient: - Vocals By the elements of earth, air, fire and water I conjure hence a (mammal). |
Summon Thunderclap |
This cantrip will cause the heavens to rumble. The material component of this cantrip is a packed picnic lunch. To cast the cantrip the caster and seven friends must sit down and begin eating. |
Summon the Thunderclap |
This cantrip will cause the victims genitals to rumble, and become infested with thousands of itchy lice. The material component of this cantrip is a severed 'well packed lunch box'. To cast the cantrip the caster must sit down and point at the area to be effected reciting Riddle me once, riddle me thrice, let thee be infested with the lice. |
Survey |
By Crushing an egg over an area the caster is able to determine the best location in which to build a structure (based upon his current requirements) within 10 miles. |
Sustain Self |
Once a week the caster may cast this cantrip, which allows him to receive all necessary nutrition and water for one day. |
Tear |

Caster can speak with his own voice and it will appear to come from any object or person/creature he wants within sight. Vocals By the sylphs of air let my voice come unto that (object, creature, person, etc.). The duration of this cantrip is 5 minutes. |
Vibration |
This spell will make any unheld dagger size and weight object to vibrate rapidly. The Vocals are Gnomes of the earth vibrate this/that (object) . |
Way of the Voice |
The Caster may mentally speak to any other casters of this cantrip as long as they are within sight. Vocals By the sylphs of the air I let my voice whisper into the mind of (other caster). Effects last 1 encounter or 15 minutes. |
Wombat's Tiny Hut |
The material component of this spell is a natural coloured cloak. In the face of impending danger the caster must scream and drape it over himself, and is then able to do a credible imitation of a boulder for 10 seconds. |
