KISSCHK – Son of Sshlikk, God of Dampness, goo and slime
Status: 2nd Generation Elder God
Level: 5000
Avatar: Barint
Son of Nissk and Sshlikk, Kisschk is a much feared swamp deity who lives beneath the earth, only emerging to grab Lizardmen souls, dragging them down to their doom.
According to Lizardmen legend Kisschk was the creator of the Lizardmen form from the deep down gloop of the earth when the world was young. At the time of creation he taught them the love and appreciation of damp cold and slimy places.
His name is ‘ ‘ in the Lizardmen glyph words. Kisschk is totally loyal to his parents. He is also a good friend of Ishtra. It was Kisschk who collected Udrabax’s pieces and gave them to her. Legend also states that Kisschk guarded the healing Udrabax but was conned into leaving his post by Fenrir, saying that his mother was ill with veminant stomach grumblings. Whilst Kisschk was away Pharastus entered the dwelling housing Udrabax, His presence thus ruining Udrabax’s healing process.
On Kisschk’s return to the dwelling house he was stopped by Pharastus who told him that Ishtra believed him responsible for Udrabax’s relapse and was at this moment on her way to his parents to tell them of his broken oath.
So well versed were Pharastus’s words that Kisschk fell at his feet begging him to intercede on his behalf. Pharastus grudgingly agreed, providing Kisschk would agree to do a task for him. Kisschk agreed straight away, so fearful was he of his parent’s reaction, before even finding out what the task would entail.
Pharastus charged Kisschk with guarding the swamps of Eä and gathering the souls of any who should enter them. Kisschk regretted his quick agreement, but feared the reprisals should he break another promise. So he left all he held dear and sank below the swamps muddy surface. There to continue with his promise gathering the souls of the foolhardy and over confidant until Pharastus should release him of his oath.
SYMBOL
Kisschk’s symbol is any carving/design of himself or his name rune.
WORSHIP
All rituals to Kisschk start with the words “I am the one who swore falsely by Ishtra, Lady of healing. Therefore he made me see darkness by day.”
TEMPLES
Exceptionally rancid festering bogs and marshes are the chosen points for temples. The temples are made of natural (usually rotting) plant life interwoven into wicker walls and daubed with thick evil smelling Black Bog mud.
Kisschk temples are seldomly roofed as natural rot and decay often results in the roof giving way.

The cults of Ishtra, Sshlikk and Nissk are all counted as friends. Pharastus and his followers are hated, in all there guises. All other cults are thought of neutrally.
