SSHLIKK – The Lizardman Goddess of War, Death and Torture
Status: 2nd Generation Elder God
Level: 5000
Avatar: Carint
Sshlikk is a malevolent being and a powerful Goddess of War Death and Torture. She is depicted as a huge 30’ tall lizardman whose body is painted black with particularly bright yellow spots (the Lizardman colour of death). Down her back hang thirteen leather cords festooned with snails. Around her neck hangs a necklace of human hands and hearts. She also wears a skirt made of living snakes adorned with a skull pendant. Her chosen weapon is a huge curved sword that can slay nine men in a single stroke.
It is said by her followers that Sshlikk stalks the battlefields drinking the blood spilled by her templars. She delights in all forms of death especially that brought on by explosive violence or the most malicious torture.
She is the life mate of Nissk and mother of Kisschk and makes up a third of the Lizardman pantheon. She is also the central figure of the Sukthiss Cult, within which Nissk and his followers aid and abet by carrying out her more Magical aspects.
SYMBOL
Sshlikk’s symbol is a runed sacrificial dagger.
WORSHIP
War started in Sshlikks name and torture and sacrifice of any sentient being is the favoured way of worshipping Sshlikk.
TEMPLES
Sshlikk’s temples are large brooding places, full of dark corners and shadows. Every temple has a central altar where sacrifices can be made with a central channel for the blood to run down.
HOLY DAYS
The ‘Sshipavali’ festival is Sshlikk’s only holy day. It falls on the 5th of Novimonath and runs for three days. Sshipavali is a terrible day of suffering and bloodshed where all prisoners of war are brought to the temples for extremely painful torture and sacrifice. It is considered a great feet to keep the prisoners alive for the complete three days of the festival.
FRIENDS AND ENEMIES
Sshlikk has no friends, though Nissk and Kisschk are used as allies.

CULT REQUIREMENTS
The cult is usually only open to Lizardmen, but other races are excepted in, (such as Drow) once they have proven there skills.
