XENOS – The Lord of the Unknown aka Kanti
Status: ?
Level: Infinite
Avatar: None
Xenos is the terrifying nothingness that lurks at the edge of dreams. He (it?) is the terror that hides in the corner of every thinking person’s psyche, it is he that breeds doubt and ultimate fear which stops the sane individual hurling themselves in to the world with no thought of self preservation.
It is Xenos’ job to ensure that mortals remember their mortality and the fact that they should live in awe of their immortal fathers and mothers (the gods).
Xenos fears only one thing, the strength in mortal’s hearts, and to this end he actively seeks to make mortals forget songs and tales of courage. He is known to the Wolfen as Kanti (he that would steal your history) and it was in this form that after being commanded by Pharastus he corrupted the child of His High most Grace and Lordship, King Theban Alemene the First; Fenrir.
The Wolfen traditions are taught from memory as paper words can be tainted, so the Wolfen teach their pups at a young age the tribal songs. It is Kanti that makes them forget and takes their courage and breeds into them the fear that would turn them down the dark path of the Coyle.
